Reaction
My reaction to the way Jonas deals with the conflict was mostly surprise. I was surprised he would risk letting memories out, because this could cause great chaos. I wasn't surprised, however, about how he saved Gabriel, because I knew that he had grown quite attached to him. My other reaction was wonder, because the book gradually told you how everything worked, and the different parts of Jonas' plan.
